The obverse of the Kennedy half dollar features a profile image of President Kennedy and was designed by Gilroy Roberts. The reverse shows a modified presidential seal by Frank Gasparro, apart from the years 1975 and 1976 where is features the Independence Hall, designed by Seth G. Huntington.
